Throughout the pages that follow, we have provided information for our members to learn about the extensive benefits provided under our Welfare Plan. Fund participants receive comprehensive coverage from hospitalization and doctors’ visits to prescription drugs, vision and dental care with little or no out-of-pocket costs.

The Teamsters Local 805 Welfare Trust Fund is a multi-employer, collectively bargained trust fund providing health benefits to approximately 4,000 employees and their families who are working under 28 collective bargaining agreements between various employers.

We are not an insurance company. We are a not-for-profit organization funded by contributions from employers that are negotiated by the Union in collective bargaining.
